The Bridge Team and Resource Management (BTRM / BRM) course is an intensive, simulator-based training program designed for Masters, Chief Mates, and Officers in Charge of a Navigational Watch. The course aims to enhance navigational safety and operational efficiency by improving the management of all available human and technical resources. It focuses heavily on "The Human Element," leadership, and decision-making during normal operations and emergency scenarios
