Course

ECDIS, Pilotage and berthing

About this activity As part of its growing series of utilising ECDIS on board vessels, Seagull Maritime has created this module after recognising that a vessel is often at its most vulnerable when in confined waters. This module highlights how ECDIS should be set-up and used in pilotage areas. When utilised to its full capability, ECDIS is a very useful tool to assist the bridge team in monitoring a vessel in confined waters, whilst also helping with berthing operations.
