About this activity

It is estimated that a very high proportion of maritime accidents, about 80 to 90 percent, are attributable to human error.
The aim of this module is to identify the main objectives of the ISM Code and outline the procedures required to comply with SOLAS regulations, including the reporting requirements within a vessel’s Safety Management System.
